Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, revealing gameplay footage of the title for the first time since its announcement in July this year.

The trailer showcases Whole Cake Island and a host of characters battling Big Mom. At Gamescom Bandai Namco also revealed Jimbei, Sanji Vinsmoke, Ichiji Vinsmoke, Niji Vinsmoke, Yonji Vinsmoke and Reiju Vinsmoke would be joining Luffy on his adventure as playable characters.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors is a spin-off series which features the characters and stories of the anime/manga series One Piece and combines them with the one vs. one thousand gameplay of the Musou genre (Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, etc). The fourth entry is said to be the most complete iteration of the franchise yet, featuring “the longest story covered” and the biggest pool of playable characters.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is expected to be released in 2020 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and PC. We have embedded the gameplay reveal trailer below.
