  • Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios have announced the SKU details for Xbox One launch title Forza Motorsport 5, confirming both a Day One edition of the game and a Limited Edition. Fans who pre-order the Day One version will find it comes with special packaging and the ‘Day One Car Pack’, including a 2010 Audi TT RS Coupe, 2013 Ford Focus ST and 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, for AU $89.95. The Limited Edition includes this pack, and adds another ‘Limited Edition Car Pack’, including a 2011 Audi RS 3 Sportback, 2012 Aston Martin Vanquish, 2013 Ford M Shelby Mustang GT500, 2013 McLaren P1 and SRT Viper GTS. This edition also comes with ‘VIP Membership’, giving access to a further five cars – the  1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C, 1987 RUF CTR Yellowbird, 1991 Mazda #55 787B, 2011 Ford F150 SVT Raptor and 2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport – as well as double player reward acceleration, access to exclusive online events, in-game gifts and a player card badge. A decal sheet, car tokens and steelbook case are also included, for the minor upgrade price of AU $99.95, making it the version to get if you have a spare $10. Both editions are now available for pre-order.
  • Rockstar unveiled an impressive trailer for GTAV’s multiplayer component, Grand Theft Auto Online:

  • Possibly leaked details about The Sims 4 have surfaced, along with screenshots. The new features tout improved Sim intelligence and emotional depth, and more customisable Sim appearances with sculpting tools.
  • Disney have announced two new apps that will connect with the now-very-near Disney Infinity – Disney Infinity: Action! and Disney Infinity: Toy BoxToy Box will launch on iPad for free, and allows players to edit their worlds on the go and transfer them to and from the console game. Action! (which is out now for iOS and Windows, and soon for Android) is a tool for creating short little animations in a Movie Maker feature, with Disney characters and pre-set animations. 
  •  NHL 14 will aggressively shove a demo out for PS3 and 360 on 22 August.
  • Fruit Ninja is now available on PS Vita, to complete the unfilled spot on your Fruit Ninja version board.
  •  New items on the Nintendo eShop today include DuckTales RemasteredPokemon Rumble U, and Etrian Odyssey IV. A special offer on New Super Mario Bros. 2 course packs is also featured, taking 30% off until 5th September.
  • A new blog post in The Road to Battlefield 4 series has gone live over at the Battlefield website.
  • Sequel to the music game which turns your MP3s into levels, Audiosurf 2, is targeting a September 2013 release via Steam Early Access.
