Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has revealed the Xbox Live Games with Gold freebies for February 2017.
The Xbox One system receives the indie adventure game Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. In the game players can go solo or play cooperatively with up to four players locally, piloting a ship with individual stations that control its weapons, shield, Yamato cannon and map. You control a single avatar and must move them around each station to battle enemies and explore. Also available is Project Cars, a racing simulator that boasts dynamic weather effects and realistic handling.
For the Xbox 360, Monkey Island 2: Special Edition makes a splash by continuing the story of Guybrush Threepwood who is now haunted by the undead pirate foe, LeChuck. Rounding off the LucasArts theme is Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, which lets you become Darth Vader’s secret apprentice and “unleash” an array of Force abilities on Stormtroopers and Jedi alike.
