Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Yule Season Brings Festive Spirit To England

Ubisoft has today revealed the full details of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Yule Season, the first free content pack for the game since its launch just over a month ago.

The Valhalla Yule Season brings the festive spirit to 9th century England, at your settlement Ravensthorpe where you’ll find revellers, mini-games, rewards and more!

Not only will the settlement have its first expansion, but players can now expect to find the Revellers’ Hut which will include a festive vendor where you can purchase vanity items using tokens you’ve earnt from the various mini-games around the settlement.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Yule Season rewards include:

  • Mōdraniht Ceremonial Outfit
  • Mōdraniht Tattoo Set
  • Mōdraniht Ceremonial Seax
  • Mōdraniht Ceremonial Shield
  • Traditional Yule Garland
  • Sacrificial Altar
  • Ritual Tree Ornaments
  • Cozy Fire Pit
  • Yule Beech Tree

Important Note: The event will be accessible after having completed one story arc (Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire) and do note that you will only be able to get the festival rewards during the Yule Festival window.

Valhalla Yule Season

This season begins just two days after title update 1.1.0 was released which brought a host of improvements, balancing and bug fixes.

Rocket Chainsaw reviewed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla at launch, giving it four and a half stars and interestingly pointing out that, “this isn’t Age of Empires so Ravensthorpe never turns into a Mecca, but we think Ravensthorpe is a step in the right direction for the series and hope it stays in future games.” It does look like Ravensthorpe is now expected to expand as new content arrives in the game, and perhaps by the time we’re done with Valhalla it will look more like a city than a village.

Assassins Creed Valhalla is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. For more information on the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Yule Season and new content, head to the official news post.
