Ubisoft Are Bringing Uno To Consoles and PC

July 20, 2016

Ubisoft and Mattel are collaborating to bring the classic card game Uno to current gen consoles and PC on August 9th.

Developed by Ubisoft Chengdu, the game will be also be part of the Microsoft Summer Spotlight Program until August 16th.

Bringing the colour and matching classic to consoles may seem like an odd choice but I personally remember really digging the Xbox 360 iteration of Uno and have high hopes that this new entry in the series is just as fun and relaxing to play.

Players will be able to drop in and out of online games and use voice and video chat, which used to be a bizarre experience at times in the old game; I once went up against an overweight Mexican dude wearing a Darth Vader helmet using his “appendage” to press the buttons, so it may be wise to keep an eye on this feature if you’re playing with young’uns.

There will also be weekly and global leaderboards to add a competitive element to proceedings.
