It wasn’t that long ago that Ubisoft announced their new battle Royale shooter Hyper Scape with no warning. Now, after both an alpha and beta period, Hyper Scape will launch on PC and consoles in just over a week’s time. One again, Ubisoft are surprising us with a super quick turnaround from announcement to release. But don’t miss out on the beta, because there are some extra benefits you’ll gain in the main release by playing it.

All players who take part in the Hyper Scape beta this weekend will receive 600 Bitcrowns (the in-game currency within the game) at launch. You can either play the beta for one hour or watch the beta for an hour on Twitch Streams where the Crowncast extension is enabled. To watch though, you must first have your Uplay account linked in the extension and also have claimed at least one battle pass point.

Something else that will coincide with the Hyper Scape launch is the beginning of Season One of the game on consoles. There will also be new content coming to Season One, with eleven guns and eleven hacks included.
