Ubisoft Reveals Nintendo Switch Games Lineup

January 14, 2017

Ubisoft have been the biggest supporters of Nintendo consoles in the past, regularly bringing games at launch and continuing major support for Nintendo consoles long after other developer’s and publisher’s support has begun to dwindle. This tradition is set to continue with Ubisoft announcing the first three games they will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch.

First, we have Just Dance 2017 which had previously been announced for the Nintendo Switch and will arrive on the console’s launch day of March 3rd. You’ll be able to dance your heart away using the Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Con controllers.

Second, we have a brand new port of Rayman Legends, titled Rayman Legends Definitive EditionRayman Legends was well received critically at launch and quickly became one of the best platformers available for the Nintendo WiiU, following on from the success of Rayman Origins before it. Rayman Legends Definitive Edition will include brand new content which has yet to be detailed and will be available later this year.

Finally, Ubisoft’s most recently released new IP is coming to the Nintendo Switch! Steep brought extreme winter sports to the current generation, allowing players to snowboard, ski, parachute and wingsuit their way down beautiful mountain ranges. Along with all the content in the game, there will also be a free update later in the year which will introduce a new mountain range from Alaska to the game. Steep will also be available later in the year.

And there we have it, Ubisoft are bringing three currently announced games to the Nintendo Switch, with more sure to come during the year. Stay tuned to Rocket Chainsaw for any future announcements.
