Score some The Division 2 Loot with Echos

March 9, 2019

Echos is an augmented reality experience for Facebook Messenger which will not only help explain to you the events that led to the chaos in Washington D.C. but also score you some exclusive The Division 2 loot to access when the game launches next week.

The Division 2‘s launch trailer was released this week, detailing the story and showing off some of the fierce weaponry and technology that you will find throughout your campaign to save Washington D.C. from the forces that seek to destroy it, including the deadly end-game faction called the Black Tusk.

In the Echos experience, players must seek out echos near their location using a navigational map, and then spawn and watch an echo in augmented reality. For those unfamiliar with echos (they were in the first The Division game), they are basically a replay of past events and help explain what has happened in a particular location, such as a coffee shop or a school. There are many echos throughout the game that will add to the story as well as unlock The Division 2 loot, just like what players of the Echos experience will unlock.

Unlockable items include different pieces of clothing as well as a rifle skin. Check out the official The Division 2 Echos Augmented Reality Experience trailer to see how your character will look with all unlocked items equipped:
