The Division 2 Gunner Specialisation Coming This Month

June 4, 2019

If you were wondering what Ubisoft has in store for E3 2019 in regards to its latest open-world 3rd person shooter, today they have revealed The Division 2 Gunner specialisation – a new, fourth specialisation you can pick in the end-game The Division 2 content.

Once reaching level 30, players chose one of three specialisations at launch: Surivalist, Sharpshooter and Demolitionist which all came with an exclusive weapon and unique perks in a talent tree that you gradually unlock as you replay the various missions and content at end-game level. Players shouldn’t expect to just be handed this specialisation though, as Ubisoft has stated five unique challenges will need to be completed before it unlocks.

The Division 2 Gunner specialisation will put you at the forefront of the firefights, giving you a mini-gun which also provides bonus armour allowing you to ignore cover and essentially be the tank of the group.

There will also be a unique skill for The Division 2 Gunner called Banshee which confuses your targets, revealing them from any cover position they may have been utilising. The unique grenade for the Gunner spec will be the riot foam which players have already seen Black Tusk forces using, and will help keep enemies exactly where you want them as you finish them off.

Expect to hear more about The Division 2 Gunner specialisation, as well as future The Division 2 content such as a possible raise in the gear score cap and more strongholds at the E3 2019 Ubisoft Press Conference.
