  • Curious about Nintendo’s newly announced 2DS handheld? Well, T3.com have gotten their hands on a couple of them, and have provided us with a short review that also includes new pictures of the packaging and the 2DS itself.
  • If you think that the only next-gen console that you’ll be able to control with your voice (eventually) is the Xbox One, then you’d be wrong. Sony have confirmed that the PlayStation 4’s camera will feature support for voice commands.
  • Want to know what the next free game is that you’ll be getting with your Xbox Live subscription? Thanks to a now-removed image of the Xbox dashboard, we know that it’s Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013.
  • Sony have published a debut trailer for Road Not Taken, a rather charming looking puzzle roguelike that’s coming to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita next year.

  • We recently heard that the Xbox One will only support voice commands in five countries at launch, but Microsoft are now claiming that the number will higher. Apparently, 10 countries will have voice support, although not all of them will have access to the full feature set.
  • Sony have confirmed that you’ll be able to buy PlayStation 4 games on your mobile phone, which will cause the console to wake up from its low-power mode, download the game, and then turn itself off again. That could definitely come in handy for people who are at work or simply away from home during the day, they’ll have a new game ready and waiting for them when they get back. Hopefully this means that we’ll also see a PlayStation Store app for iOS and Android.
  • Square-Enix and Sony have shared an in-depth look behind the scenes at the making of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, featuring some of the members of the development team.
