Blizzard are on a roll right now, with the official Blizzard store leaking new Necromancer for Diablo by John Mueller, who was recently hired as the new art director for the Diablo franchise. The original image header also included the line ‘/bc2016’ implying that an announcement of sorts is coming at Blizzcon this year. This is further backed up by the earlier tweet from the official Diablo twitter account advising that ‘Blizzcon will be really cool this year’ in response to a fan asking if Diablo would feature.

No matter what the end result is, be it an expansion for Diablo 3, Diablo 4 or the rumoured Diablo 2 HD remake, it’s looking like there’s going to be come big Diablo news coming at Blizzcon this year. Personally, our money is on an announcement of Diablo 4 at Blizzcon. So stay tuned for new information as Blizzcon runs over November 5th and 6th in Australia and maybe even grab a virtual ticket if you want to be there as anything is announced.
