Razer Announces ‘Paid to Play’ Initiative Razer Cortex

March 27, 2017

Are you tired of playing games but only being awarded meaningless achievements that do nothing beyond inflating your gamerscore and ego? Well, Razer are introducing a brand new loyalty program that will reward you for doing nothing other than launching games through their new Razer Cortex program and playing them.

By playing a range of games after launching them from Razer Cortex you will earn zSilver, a brand new digital currency created by Razer that can be redeemed for a range of prizes, including the Razer Chroma Mug that cannot be obtained any other way. The goal of this new program is for Razer products to be obtainable by Gamers everywhere, living up to Razer’s inclusive motto of “For Gamers. By Gamers.”

You will be able to receive 3 zSilver per minute of playtime in supported games, up to a maximum of 900 per day, with the minute rate being doubled to 6 zSilver for the first two weeks of the program. Currently the following games are highlighted as being supported by the program, with many of them being free to play and easily obtainable:  Paladins, League of Legends, DOTA 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and OverWatch.

So, if you want to be rewarded for doing nothing but playing games you already own and play, head on over to Razer’s website, download Razer Cortex and get earning today.
