Pokken Tournament DX announced for Switch

June 7, 2017

During their Pokemon Direct on Tuesday night, Nintendo announced that Pokken Tournament DX will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on September 22 this year.

The game is a deluxe version of the original Pokken Tournament on Wii U. In addition to the 16 playable fighters from the Wii U version, DX will also feature Darkrai, Scizor, Empoleon, Croagunk and Decidueye as playable characters. Pokken Tournament DX will support the Switch’s Table Top mode, and will allow players to separate the joycon controllers for multiplayer battles. Online ranked matches, casual matches and friend-only group matches will also be featured.

Pokken Tournament DX will be demoed at this year’s E3. We have included a trailer below.
