It’s E3 2018 and that means huge announcements and reveals, and we can now finally show you Overkill’s The Walking Dead gameplay footage hot from the PC Gaming Press Conference.

Previously, fans have only seen some cinematic trailers introducing several new The Walking Dead characters (you can check them out on the official Overkill YouTube Channel), and we’ve been absolutely busting to wait and see how the game will be played and how similar it will be to the popular comics and TV series’. Overkill’s The Walking Dead is a co-operative first person shooter from Starbreeze Studios (Payday 2, Chronicles of Riddick, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons) and Overkill Software (also Payday 2).

The E3 2018 gameplay trailer didn’t show any actual in-game footage, but gave a far better idea of what to expect when the game launches later this year.

The game is being developed using the close guidance of Robert Kirkman who created the entire The Walking Dead franchise. Kirkman has stated that the moment he saw gameplay for the new co-operative experience that it was The Walking Dead game that fans have been waiting for.
