Telltale Games has announced the first episode of The Walking DeadSeason 3, now subtitled A New Frontier, will be available to download from December 20 this year.
The game is a soft reboot of sorts for the series, but will still star Clementine from the first two seasons. A New Frontier is set four years after season two, featuring Clementine as a young adult and gameplay being split between her and a new male character named Javier.
The game will be also released as a “season pass disc” on Xbox One and PS4 on February 7, 2017. The disc will contain the first episode, and provide access to the subsequent episodes via download. PS4 owners who pre-order the digital version from the PlayStation store will receive a complimentary download of The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: Michonne.
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will be released on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, iOS and Android.
