Ubisoft has released a gameplay trailer for the upcoming Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle DLC, Donkey Kong Adventure. The trailer, and a separate interview with Producer Xavier Manzanares, have revealed new details about the DLC.

Donkey Kong Adventure stars Rabbid Peach, Donkey Kong and Rabbid Cranky Kong who explore a new island area and come face-to-face with Rabbid Donkey Kong, the World 1 boss from the original game.

Donkey Kong’s long range weapon is a banana boomerang that attacks enemies at angles, while ground pounds act as close range attack. The ape also has a grab-and-throw ability that allows him to grab enemies, hazards and allies and throw them across the battle stage.

Rabbid Cranky Kong has a cane weapon which has a number of different effects, depending on the options the player chooses. He can also jump onto Donkey Kong’s body and launch into the air for an aerial attack.

According to Manazanares the DLC will have 10 hours of gameplay, which certainly makes it a sizable chunk of new content.
