Goat Simulator coming to PS3 and PS4

July 16, 2015

Sony has revealed that Goat Simulator will be coming to the PS3 and PS4 on August 11th.

The game will be similar to the Xbox One version that was released earlier in the year, although there will be a new joke GoatVR mode. Console version developer, Double Eleven, noted they still need to “do that part where it connects to an actual headset but for now you can enjoy a simulated GoatVR experience without it”.

The PS3 version will support split-screen multiplayer for two players while the PS4 version will support up to four players.

Goat Simulator originally started out as a joke project for the developers to learn the Unreal Engine. After alpha state footage was released online, the game gained word of mouth which lead to an eventual release on PC in April 2014. The game deliberately has broken physics and strange missions that combine to create some hilarious situations.
