Forza Horizon 3 Gets Hot Wheels DLC

April 27, 2017

Microsoft today has revealed that Forza Horizon 3 will be getting a pretty decently sized expansion in the form of Hot Wheels. Six new themed islands which are all connected by Hot Wheels style tracks will be placed along the coast of Australia in the Forza Horizon 3 map. The bridges connecting the islands will be spectacularly designed, including loops, corkscrews and more.

The new Hot Wheels DLC pack will bring ten new Hot Wheels themed cars including fan favourites, and also a barn find which is yet to be revealed.

The nine cars we do know about are listed below:

·         1969 Hot Wheels Twin Mill

·         2011 Hot Wheels Bone Shaker

·         2012 Hot Wheels Rip Rod

·         2005 Hot Wheels Ford Mustang

·         2016 Jeep Trailcat

·         2016 Zenvo ST1

·         2007 Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38

·         2010 Pagani Zonda R

·         1972 Chrysler VH Valiant Charger R/T E49

The Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels DLC will also include new upgrades for your existing vehicles, boost pads, high-bank turns, half-pipes, and even giant mechanical dinosaurs (eat your heart out, Clive Palmer!). The new campaign will have you stunting your way around Australia, building up your skills as you eventually reach the climactic Grand Finale called the Hot Wheels Goliath circuit.

With a brand-new Playground Arena, and 28 new Xbox LIVE achievements worth a massive 500 gamerscore, this new Forza Horizon 3 DLC pack looks to be one of the most involving Forza Horizon expansions to date.
