First Persona 4 Arena Gameplay

March 21, 2012

Bringing together the RPG and fighting genres, Persona 4 Arena, developed by well known BlazBlue developer Arc System Works, will be coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 a bit later on this year. For now though, the game has just had an arcade release in Japan earlier this month. Some lucky people have been getting their hands on the game, and they’re sharing their experience. We’ve seen small amounts of gameplay in the past, via the short trailers that were released for the game, but this is the first time that we’ve been able to watch entire battles and really get a feel for the game’s flow. Courtesy of Gamechariot, here’s your first proper look at the game in action:

Yu Narukami (the Main Character) vs Aigis:

If you’re watching the second video, you’ll be interested to know that the music playing in the background is Yu Narukami’s theme in the game, which is proving to be quite popular with fans. If you’ve played Persona 4, then you’ll know why. Persona 4 Arena is looking to be a fun, fast paced fighter with some rather nice artwork.
