As the lead-up to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth‘s release on 29 February lines up with Valentine’s Day, Square Enix and Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia have joined with Fortress Sydney to bring together a special event on that special 14 February date.

The event, called ‘Golden Date Night’, named for the Gold Saucer location both from the original Final Fantasy VII and its upcoming remake Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, will be held from 7 to 10pm on 14 February, with a screening of 2005’s Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, some Final Fantasy VII trivia, free arcade games and the opportunity to try Rebirth ahead of its release. There’ll also be themed food and beverages, including a special custom cocktail, and prizes to win including a PlayStation 5 and other Final Fantasy VII items.

Entry to the event will be held via ballot, and you’ll need to register via the Gleam event page to be in the draw to win a double pass ticket. You can check out that link here.
