Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV CGI movie announced

March 31, 2016

Alongside Square-Enix’s announcement of a new anime series based on Final Fantasy XV, a new CGI movie in the vein of Advent Children was announced at the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event in Los Angeles.

Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV looks to tackle the political subject matter of the game, with two warring kingdoms – one ruled by a crystal, the other by machines. Some Hollywood luminaries will be lending their voices to the project, including Sean Bean as King Regis, Aaron Paul as Nyx and Lena Headey as Luna.

The film is expected to be released in 2016, ahead of the release of  the game.
