- It turns out that the Warzone multiplayer mode from the first three Gears of War games is also on the disc of Gears of War: Judgment. - The controversy surrounding a post-GDC party hosted by IGDA continues today, with Yetizen, the party’s organisers, now saying that everything that happened at the party, including the costumes worn by female dancers, was approved by IGDA. IGDA, on the other hand, say that that they did not see or approve all the costumes used at the party, however. The incident has led to the resignation of several high-profile IGDA members, and the withdrawal of support for the organisation from a number of independent studios and organisations. It has also tarnished a GDC that was notable for excellent panels on the role and status of women in the video game industry.
