Josef Fares, director and creator of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, has taken to the stage during EA’s Live @ EA Play press conference to reveal the debut game from his new studio Hazelight, A Way Out.

Fares is back to innovate again, with A Way Out being played entirely in split-screen co-cop (locally or online) and with no option for single player. The game will focus on two characters, as they work together to escape from prison and go on a highly personal and emotional journey. You’ll be able to make decisions on how to play the game, as the different characters approach scenarios in different ways.

A Way Out is coming in early 2018 for PC via Origin, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so check out the two brand new trailers for the game below.
