E3 2017: Ori and the Will of the Wisps Announced

June 12, 2017

MOON Studios has revealed that the rumours of late are true and have officially announced that Ori’s story will continue with Ori and the Will of the Wisps, showing a teaser trailer during the Xbox E3 2017 press conference.

Details weren’t given and gameplay wasn’t shown, but the teaser trailer showed off a range of environments and enemies that make the game look just as incredibly artistic and beautiful as Ori and the Blind Forest. No story was confirmed, but the game looks like the story may focus on the story of Kuro’s race and not Ori itself. The trailer shows a field of Owl corpses stretching into the distance, as Ori places its arm around a baby owl. At the very least, there’s no doubt that MOON Studios are aiming for another highly emotional story in Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

No release window was confirmed for Ori and the Will of the Wisps, but it was announced for Xbox One and Windows 10.
