The rumours have been confirmed, with Deck Nine games confirmed to be working on a prequel to 2015’s Life is Strange titled Life is Strange: Before the Storm, which was revealed during the Xbox E3 2017 press conference.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm will focus on Chloe Price before the events of the original game, as she forges an unlikely friendship with Rachel Price. The game promises to further expand Chloe’s story and looks to build towards the events of Life is Strange. Not much else was confirmed about the game, with the trailer showing a range of locales and characters you will see during your time with the game.

Episode 1 of 3 of Life is Strange: Before the Storm will launch on August 31 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
