If the words “Dragon” and “Elder Scrolls” don’t get you going, then perhaps you’re not as much of a gamer as you think you are. Today, Zenimax Media has announced a new DLC pack for their massively multiplayer online free-to-play game, Elder Scrolls Online. The new Dragon Bones DLC will arrive next month and feature two new dungeons with new gear sets and items.

The Dragon Bones DLC pack is available for free for ESO Plus subscribers, or it is purchasable through the Crown Store for everyone else. Alongside the DLC, Zenimax Media has revealed there will be a free title update for all players including some great new features. Check them out after the drop!

Elder Scrolls Online Title Update 17 will include a host of new features and changes, such as:

  • The Outfit System, allowing you to customize your look, regardless of your equipped gear
  • Two new Battlegrounds: Mor Khazgur and Deeping Drome (ESO: Morrowind required)
  • Home storage, giving you the opportunity to store items in your home
  • All-new Level Up system and Skills Advisor tool, helping you to advance your character with intuitive suggestions and tips, and helpful rewards
  • …and more!

Dragon Bones will features two new dungeons where you will uncover an ancient legacy:

In Scalecaller Peak, the burial site of a long-dead Dragon Priest is now overrun with diseased cultists harboring an evil agenda: to unleash the deadliest plague Tamriel has ever known. You and your team must journey to Scalecaller Peak, battle your way through the cultists and their followers, and put an end to this threat.

Deep within the belly of Fang Lair, an ancient Dwarven ruin, a master of necromancy works a dark ritual in an effort to reanimate the bones of a once-living dragon. It’s up to you and your companions to enter the dungeon, face the necromancers, and stop the ritual before this undead monstrosity can be unleashed on Tamriel.

Rocket Chainsaw reviewed the first large-scale expansion Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind last year, giving it 4.5 stars, describing it as an expansion that “has turned The Elder Scrolls Online into the MMORPG that it deserves to be, and we are very excited to see what ZeniMax Online Studios does next with the game.”

Elder Scrolls Online: Dragon Bones DLC will arrive in February 2018 for Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. For more information, check out the official announcement here.
