Discless Xbox One S dated and priced for Australia

July 22, 2019

Microsoft has announced via a press release that the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition will be coming to Australian shores on August 1 and will cost AU$349. The console was announced in March this year and was released in the United States and Europe in May.

As its name suggests the system lacks a disc drive to play physical media but still fully supports all digital content available on the Xbox Store including 4K movies and games. The system comes with a 1TB hard drive and download codes for three games – Minecraft, Forza Horizon 3 and Sea of Thieves.

The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition is now available for pre-order at Microsoft Store, JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman. Interestingly, EB Games don’t seem to be stocking the console.
