Shadowverse, the free-to-play digital card game released in 2016, has seen its fair share of success since its launch, not least in esports circles, and now Japanese publisher Cygames has announced the next card expansion for the title.

Dawnbreak, Nightedge is the eighth card set for the game, and will launch worldwide at the end of March, with new cards from the set being unveiled throughout the month leading up to release.

Key among the changes included in this card set is the new keyword, ‘choose’, which allows players to choose from a selection of different abilities or effects when they play certain cards. Dawnbreak, Nightedge will include two cards with free leader skins, based on the results of the 1st Birthday Card Popularity Poll from last year, and every player will also receive a rare Legendary card for free – the exact one will be announced later in March.
