  • NEWS: Rocket Chainsaw’s pick for 2012’s game of the year, The Walking Dead, has been classified for an Australian release, as per the Australian Government’s Classification website. “Strong themes and horror violence”? You bet.
  • NEWS: Gluttons for brain-related punishment will be pleased to note that Sony Computer Entertainment Japan are making a brain training game for the PlayStation Vita, as discussed on Siliconera. Like most brain training games, the cheerfully titled Let’s Do Our Best! Brain-chan will be a collection of minigames involving observation, logic and calculation. No word of an English release yet, but the genre does seem to be quite popular here, so there’s a good chance we’ll be seeing it on our shores.
  • NEWS: We just released a review for New Style Boutique, but if you’re keen on dress-up with FPS gameplay, the new Borderlands 2 DLC is for you. According to the 2K Games blog, each vault hunter class now has a Domination, Madness or Supremacy themed outfit, totalling in 15 new sets, and is available for 80 MS Points/AUD$1.75.
  • NEWS: Nintendo will be revealing a number of games for the Wii U tonight on the livestream Nintendo Direct. Tune in on the 23rd at 22:00 if you’re in WA, 23:30 in NT or 24:00 in QLD. Tune in on the 24th at 00:30 if you’re in SA, 01:00 if you’re in VIC, NSW, TAS or the ACT, or at 03:00 if you’re in NZ. Can’t or don’t want to stay up? The presentation will be available on the Nintendo Direct website once the broadcast stream is over.
  • VIDEO: Finally, here’s a trailer for the high-definition version of the rather excellent Resident Evil: Revelations. The game was originally released for 3DS, but will be making a leap over to PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360, and Wii U in May.[youtube id=”lYw9_naxzfY” width=”600″ height=”350″]
