Direct from Capcom’s Gamescom 2012 press conference, the company has announced a collaboration with French development studio DONTNOD Entertainment for a brand new game titled Remember Me.

Set during a 2084 Neo-Paris, Remember Me follows elite ‘memory hunter’ Nilin on her quest to rediscover her identity. For you see Nilin has had done to her exactly what she usually does to her targets: extract and erase memory information.

DONTNOD and Capcom have provided an announcement trailer, found below, showcasing the general plot as well as some gameplay. Folk might recognise a few scenes from the trailer from none other than E3 2012, where leaked images and GIFs of a then unannounced game made their way onto the internet. Turns out it was Remember Me.
