Activision to partner with Sony for Call of Duty E3 2015

In what is sure to herald a massive shift in content support, Activision and Sony have today announced that for at least the immediate future of the Call of Duty franchise the two are collaborating to ensure early access to expansion packs and other goodies.

Echoing the relationship formally between Microsoft and Activision, it will start with PlayStation hardware being the home of first release map packs and whatnot for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. We can imagine a pretty penny has been spent in securing all of this.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III will launch later this year.
