PAX Aus Online has announced its opening keynote speaker, along with the winners of its Indie Showcase. The event is still full steam ahead, after the physical version was cancelled earlier this year, set for 8 October – 10 October.
In a fairly big get for the event, Innersloth, the developers of Among Us, will deliver the opening ‘Storytime’ keynote address, at 11:30 AEDT on Friday 8 October. Of course, Among Us is (relatively) somewhat (kind of) well known title, which should attract plenty of people to the PAX Aus Online, which is operating across four streaming channels, Discord and a virtual expo hall.
In addition, the winners of the PAX Aus 2021 Indie Showcase have been announced:
- Vault of the Void – Spider Nest Games (QLD)
- A Township Tale – Alta (NSW)
- Innchanted – Dragon Bear Studios (VIC)
- Mars First Logistics – Ian MacLarty (VIC)
- CONSCRIPT – Jordan Mochi (VIC)
- Blueberry – Mellow Games (QLD)
The very first tabletop winners were also announced to be:
- DRiFT – James Allen (NSW)
- Letter Drop – Cutlass Boardgames (NSW)
- Kingless – Two19 (TAS)
- Floating Floors – Guf Studios (VIC)
