It’s been quite some time since Sony closed Studio Liverpool, the developers behind the ultra-fast and ultra-fast futuristic racing game, Wipeout, and the gaming world has been worse because of it. Acknowledging the fans yearning for a new Wipeout experience, Playstation announced the Wipeout Omega Collection during their Playstation Experience Showcase.

The Omega Collection will feature ports of Wipeout 2048 and Wipeout HD/Fury, the last Playstation Vita and Playstation 4 Wipeout games respectively.

The Wipeout Omega Collection will release in 2017 for Playstation 4.
