The recent rumours have proven to be true and Capcom have revealed that Marvel Vs Capcom is back again with the announcement of Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite during the Playstation Experience Showcase in Anaheim.

It looks like the rumours are true and Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite will do away with all X-Men characters, instead focusing on Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. The mutants may be gone, but Iron Man, Megaman and Ryu return, and newcomers will abound with Ms Marvel and Thanos both being shown during the trailer. The debut gameplay trailer will be shown later today.

Along with Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite, Shawn Layden also announced that for fans who don’t want to wait for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite that Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, the Playstation 3 Marvel vs Capcom game that was delisted from the Playstation store after Capcom lost their Marvel license, is being ported exclusively for Playstation 4.
