Overnight, 2K and Marvel unexpectedly announced a new take on the superhero video game genre, with Marvel’s Midnight Suns set for a release in March, 2022.

The game, developed by XCOM’s Firaxis Games and billed as a tactical RPG, features characters traditionally more renowned for darker and more violent storylines. The Avengers, facing the supernatural foe of Lilith, seek help from the ‘Midnight Suns’ – Nico Minoru, Blade, Magik and Ghost Rider. Other heroes like Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Wolverine, Captain America and Iron Man are also teased.
