NEWS: As a cheeky surprise for lovers of dark and obscure Japanese role playing games, Square-Enix has today announced Drag-on Dragoon 3 for PlayStation 3, or as we know it: Drakengard 3. Originally developed by the now defunct Cavia, the Drakengard series, as well as Nier, is well known for its action focused gameplay and twisted, controversial characters and narratives. Though Cavia no longer exists, Square-Enix has managed to pull together key ex-Cavia staff that worked as leads on Drakengard and Nier for Drakengard 3, of which will be developed by the Deadly Premonition famed studio Access Games. The official Drakengard 3 website shares a little insight into the art, world, and characters.
NEWS: Coming off the success of previous iterations, IGN has confirmed that developer 505 Games is working on Sniper Elite 3. The game is targeting Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and “next generation platforms” for a release in 2014.
VIDEO: The VR mission DLC pack for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is now available for purchase and download. Konami has also confirmed that their other two mission packs, focusing on Jetstream Sam and Blade Wolf, will be available in April for US$6.99. A trailer for today’s pack can be seen below.

NEWS: Dishonored will grow a little larger come April, as Bethesda confirm the first of two mission focused DLC packs. Titled The Knife of Dunwall, the first pack will follow early exploits of Dishonored‘s Daud, as he hunts for a mysterious person/artifact/whatever called Delilah. The Knife of Dunwall will grant players new areas to explore along with new powers for killing and sneaking, and will be available on 16 April for $9.99/800MSP. The second pack, titled The Brigmore Witches, will conclude Daud’s story, and be available at a later date.
