Zero Latency launches worldwide free-roam VR competition

August 3, 2023

Zero Latency, the free-roam VR arcade empire that began its life in Melbourne, has announced that it’s celebrating 3 million ‘plays’ globally across its many, many locations. As part of this celebration, they’re launching Champions of the Undead, their first ‘VR competition’.

The idea is that players can book in to play a round of Undead Arena, one of the stalwarts of the Zero Latency library, and aim to get the best score they can. The highest scores from each regional leaderboard will be flown to Las Vegas for the Grand Final. The competition will run from 10 August 2023 to 6 September 2023, with the final taking place on 5 October 2023 in Vegas. The winner will receive $15,000 USD, while runners up will win a VIVE XR Elite worth $1,099 USD.

“This is the first time in our history that we’re bringing our global community together in this exciting way, and giving back to the players that have supported us,” said Tim Ruse, CEO at Zero Latency.

Zero Latency has multiple locations across Australia, including Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and the Gold Coast.
