Xbox One X pre-orders now live, Project Scorpio Edition revealed

Since lifting the lid off the Xbox One X (previously known as Project Scorpio) at E3 2017, many gamers have been wondering when the system would be available for pre-order. Well, today is that day.

This morning following Microsoft’s presentation at Gamescom 2017, several retailers have started taking pre-orders for the console. Like the original Xbox One Day One Edition, fans can pre-order a special Project Scorpio Edition which comes with a “Project Scorpio” badge on the Xbox One X console and controller. The console will still feature a 1TB hard drive, but also comes with a limited edition custom printed exterior and a vertical stand.

Aussies can currently pre-order at the following retailers:

Our understanding is that stock is strictly limited, so if you’re thinking of getting the console it’s better to pre-order sooner rather than later. The Xbox One X launches on 7 November, for a suggested retail price of AU$649.95.
