In rather unsurprising news, Sega confirmed at Comic-Con that it will be bringing Sonic Adventure 2 to Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network later this year.

This follows on from a rather odd leak on the Xbox Live Marketplace website last month which showed that a HD version of the game with offline multiplayer and online leaderboards would be released.

Let’s hope it’s better than the abysmal port of Sonic Adventure that we got back in 2010.
