In what was one of the worst kept secrets of this year’s E3, the Gwent card game from CD Projekt Red’s hit The Witcher III – Wild Hunt will be released as a stand-alone title, the developer confirmed during Microsoft’s press conference.
Featuring a redesigned look, a single player campaign and the prerequisite ranked and friendly multiplayer matches, a beta test for the game will be starting soon with a projected release date for PlayStation 4, Xbox one and PC in September. CD Projekt Red also confirmed that they’re aiming for full cross-platform play.
