E3 2018: Forza Horizon 4 Map Size Will Be About The Same As FH3

June 13, 2018

It’s the post-press conference stage of E3 2018 and that’s generally where we get all the little pieces of the puzzle that make up an upcoming game, and today we can share with you some information we have learned about the Forza Horizon 4 map size. The game will cover a fair chunk of Britain, and Forza Horizon 4 Director Ralph Fulton is confirming on the show floor that it is about the same size as the Australia map in Forza Horizon 3, if not a little bit bigger.

This is great news for Forza Horizon fans that love watching the series grow, and as we’ve seen from the trailer and bits of information we’ve slowly been gathering, the game will feature locations all the way from the Cotswolds in England to the Welsh countryside to the far north city of Edinburgh in Scotland.

No other cities in Britain have been shown other than Edinburgh, and at this stage we highly doubt London will be included, however given the “Historic Britain” theme, we may see York and will hopefully be able to crash a Ferrari into Stonehenge which lies just a few clicks east of the Cotswolds.

Here we have a map of the trip from Edinburgh to the Cotswolds, and we can also confirm that the Lake District National Park seen about halfway down on the Western coast will be a region where plenty of off-road racing will occur across all four seasons.

While the E3 2018 Forza Horizon 4 playable demo has its map locked away and it seems Playground Games wants to keep it that way until the game’s release, we can at least begin to draw some sort of a picture of what we may come across when the game launches on October 2, 2018 on Xbox One and Windows PC.
