Forza Horizon 3 Cheats Detected And Banned

October 22, 2016

Microsoft Games Studios has just banned a small group of Forza Horizon 3 Cheats on Windows 10 PCs, whom they say have been hacking the game to get extra money by using trainers and other methods. This has led to a small amount of community outcry with players claiming they have done nothing wrong, yet have copped a 30 year ban.

A pinned thread on the Forza subreddit has an official reply from Turn 10 employee Helios, “If anyone here feels they have been unjustly banned for 30 years from Forza Horizon 3 on PC, can you please send me a private message along with your Xbox Live Gamertag. I will then get your case investigated as soon as possible.

A recent update stopped Forza Horizon 3 cheats from performing a glitch that allowed you to gain almost unlimited XP by skidding up against a certain barrier in the game, however developers Plaground Studios have said that performing that particular glitch did not lead to Forza Horizon 3 cheats being banned.

Forza Horizon 3 was the first game to launch on both Xbox One and PC at the same time, and Microsoft has said they are eager to maintain the integrity of the in-game economy. Hackers will often target things like auction houses, and after spawning in millions of dollars they will distribute the wealth to random players attempting to selling cars or liveries for way more than what they would normally sell for.

Players that feel they have been unfairly banned  are encouraged to submit an appeal to Helios on Reddit, or to email Microsoft directly at forzafb@microsoft.com.
