May 11, 2018

If you’re a FIFA fan, you might want to tune into Gfinity Esport Ausralia’s Twitch stream tonight, as the FIFA 18 Global Series Qualifier will be shown live, starting at 8PM AEST.

Broadcast live from Gfinity Esports Arena in London, the Qualifier will feature four prolific Australian FIFA 18 players compete for a share in the 15K prize pool, and entry into the FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs, providing a direct pathway to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018.

Aussies Marcus Gomes and Joel Andruszkiewicz will compete for the Xbox spot, while Rick Tran and Joshua Wood are in it to win it for the PS4 spot. All four competitors were flown all-expenses paid to the UK for the competition, and got to tour the Chelsea FC Stadium during their trip.

“I never thought I’d be able to travel the world playing a video game like FIFA, something I’ve been enjoying all my life. A great experience for the future and a wonderful reminder for what is possible playing at the highest level of FIFA esports” said  Joel “Jaz_cb” Andruszkiewicz
