Fantasy Game F1 2020 Announce Trailer Arrives Despite Virus

April 16, 2020

CODEMASTERS and Deep Silver have today unleashed the official F1 2020 Announce Trailer, revealing the game will be racing your way in July 2020.

We all use video games to escape reality. To travel to distant worlds and to see things through the eyes of others. Most games are entirely fantasy, while other games try to be as close to reality as they can be. We never thought we’d be saying that F1 2020 is a fantasy game where you get to experience what the F1 2020 season would be like if it were to happen, but yet here we are.

After the sudden cancellation of the Australian F1 Grand Prix, we were all still in denial as to how it would affect the rest of the F1 2020 season. As it turns out, Codemasters now holds the key to fulfil your desires and live your very own ultimate personal journey on those iconic race tracks we’ve become all to familiar with in this generation.

Rocket Chainsaw reviewed F1 2019 at launch last year, giving it 4 stars and reporting that, “as the years go on, the F1 games slowly blur more lines with real life, and soon we’ll be wondering whether the gameplay footage is actually from last weekend’s race.” It appears this year there will be no wondering, but not for the reasons we had back then.

Buckle up, there’s no Covid-19 on your couch. It’s time to become the F1 2020 champion.
