September 17, 2019

We all have dreams of what sports we’d like to see at the Summer Olympic Games, and today Sega has revealed their own Olympics dream events for the upcoming Mario & Sonic at the Olympics Tokyo 2020. There are plenty of sports that don’t receive the attention they deserve and could definitely make their mark at the biggest sporting event on earth, but Sega wants to take it a step further in the game with some truly fantasy style Olympics dream events.

Rocket Chainsaw has been covering Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics since its reveal in the Nintendo E3 2019 Direct, and you can also check out the nostalgic 2D events that will be included in our write-up here.

The new Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics dream events include dream racing, dream shooting, dream karate, and more, all which can be played both solo and in multiplayer with friends, across a range of Nintendo, Sega and Tokyo 2020 themed locations.
