The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr Announce Trailer Brings Dragons Back

We’re bringing sexy dragons back, or at least Zenimax Online Studios is with the Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr announce trailer. As expected from last week’s leak, the main expansion this year is Elsweyr, following the first two expansions Morrowind and Summerset.

Also announced and confirmed is the Season of the Dragon, which is a year-long DLC/expansion story focusing on the return of dragons to the world of Tamriel. A DLC pack titled Wrathstone will kick things off ahead of the full Elsweyr expansion in the middle of 2019.

Wrathstone will be coming to the public test servers next week, with full patch notes expected to drop shortly. It will include new dungeons and items, and we’re expecting it to launch on the main servers in early February.

As revealed in the Elsweyr Announce trailer below, dragons have been released from an ancient cave by a human and khajit, and players can expect to find them throughout Elsweyr, as well as in dungeons.

Become a Necromancer with an all-new class in the Elsweyr expansion, with new skill lines Reaper, Bone Tyrant and Living Death. Death is your weapon as a Necromancer, and players will find that their positioning and timing is more important than ever as you use the dead to your advantage.
