The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr Early Access Begins Now

BETHESDA and Zenimax Online Studios today has launched The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr early access for Windows PC players. Elsweyr is the third major expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online, with Morrowind and Summerset coming in the previous consecutive years at roughly the same time. Elsweyr is the land of the Khajiit, however players will also encounter numerous undead foes, as well as many dragons as you work through the Season of the Dragon content.

That’s right, if you’ve just finished watching a certain TV show and are looking for your new dragon fix, look no further as the Khajiiti are defintely not going to be bending the knee to these dragons any time soon.

Read our The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr announcement article here.

The Elsweyr zone, located directly south of Cyrodiil, has an exotic theme which should feel quite different to the picturesque vistas of Summerset Isle and the marshy swamp-lands of Morrowind. Players can also create a new character using the new Necromancer class which looks quite similar to a typical witch/warlock type role but with its own typical Elder Scrolls uniqueness.

Check out the official The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr Zone trailer below:

Dragons stalk the skies over Elsweyr, and the Khajiit struggle to defend their homeland from both invading Imperials and the monstrous beasts. While featuring a strong stand-alone story in its own right, ESO: Elsweyr continues the Season of the Dragon adventure that started with the WrathstoneDLC and continues throughout the rest of the year’s updates.

This new Chapter includes:

  • A zone to explore: Elsweyr
  • A story detailing the efforts to protect the Khajiiti homeland from the Dragons
  •  A class to master: the Necromancer
  • A 12-player Trial: Sunspire
  • A massive collection of side quests and stunning locations to explore
  • Item sets, collectibles, and more
