E3 2016 – PlayDead’s Inside dated, Limbo offered for Free

June 14, 2016

After a delay of over a year past the original projected release date, Limbo developer PlayDead announced at E3 2016 that their follow-up game, Inside, will finally be released on June 29th for the Xbox One and a Steam version following closely on July 7th.

With a cryptic but intriguing trailer, available to view below, Inside looks like it’ll be expanding upon the dark cartoonish aesthetic of Limbo and the refined platforming puzzles that made the aforementioned game such a joy to experience… Fingers crossed that there’s no giant spiders pursuing you this time around though.

If you haven’t yet experienced Limbo or just need a reminder as to just how great PlayDead’s previous effort is, it will be given away free for Xbox one owners until June 20th and the 21st for players on Steam.
