  • NEWS: The official Nintendo Japan website has updated to reveal several new Nintendo branded accessories set to hit the market. These include charge packs and docks for Wii Remotes, priced at 4200 Yen (~AU$43), and a Wii U GamePad battery approximately twice as large as the vanilla batter for 3150 Yen (~AU$32). Nintendo also intends to launch the 32GB Wii U unit pack in white, as well as lunch a Nintendo Land + Wii Remote bundle pack. Whether or not any of these hit Australia remains to be seen, but folk should be able to import stuff like the battery and find it compatible with local units.
  • NEWS: Rumours that Blizzard’s next big game, codenamed Titan, has been cancelled and rebooted are…true. A statement from Blizzard has confirmed as much, indicating the publisher felt the project needed major design and technology changes. This has pushed Titan into a 2016 release at the earliest.
  • VIDEO: Ubisoft has revealed their E3 2013 focus. It includes Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Rayman Legends, Watch_Dogs, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, South Park and the Stick of Truth, as well as surprise, unannounced titles for next generation systems. The Ubisoft E3 conference will take place 3pm PDT on 10 June, and will be streamed live via YouTube (handy countdown timer provided). Last year’s host Aisha Tyler will return, as per the announcement in this humorous Ubisoft E3 2013 teaser.

  • NEWS: Earlier this year, David Hayter stated he would not be providing the voice of Big Boss in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain. Since then, Kojima has stated the new voice actor for Big Boss will be revealed at their E3 2013 conference, and now Hayter is playing funny buggers with his fans on twitter. Who is really voicing Big Boss? Will Snake make an appearance? We don’t have long to wait to find out.
  • NEWS: Will Yakuza 5 ever get localised? Maybe! A fan posed the question to SEGA customer support, and they replied with a delicious haiku, stating “good information” to come. Vague!
  • VIDEO: SEGA’s Sonic and the Lost Worlds for Wii U has an official trailer, looking similar to the long cancelled Sonic X-Zone. Check it.
