  • NEWS: Word of warning to all our readers, but if rumours are to be believed, the entire story behind The Last of Us has leaked online, a good couple of months before the official launch date. Echoing the pre-launch Mass Effect 3 debacle, sources claim files found on God of War: Ascension‘s game disk, wherein a time locked The Last of Us demo is located, have been data-mined for all sorts of goodies. And that includes a whole lot of dialogue transcripts and cutscenes. Be wary of where you visit, and who is posting!
  • NEWS: Don’t get too excited over the confirmation that Earthbound is coming to Australian Wii U Virtual Console. Reported by Polygon, Mother franchise director Shigesato Itoi has responded to a fan query of Mother 4 possibilities by simply stating it’s “impossible”. That’s that.
  • VIDEO: Call of Duty: Ghosts has been revealed! Kinda. A press issue release by Activision confirms that the next major entry in the Call of Duty franchise will indeed be Ghosts, a new story following a new group of characters. Powered by a new engine, Ghosts will launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, as well as next generation systems. A teaser video can be seen below, meanwhile a full gameplay reveal will take place at Microsoft’s next generation Xbox reveal later this month.

  • NEWS: If you hadn’t noticed yet, the Wii U eShop has been updated to include the Rayman Legends Challenge App. Featuring daily/weekly cycled challenges, this free app allows players to pit themselves against friends in various time and score based game modes.
  • NEWS: Siliconera is reporting that Marvelous AQL, the studio who worked on Muramasa Rebirth, is working on a game called Cross Horizon. Additional details point to Cross Horizon being an Android, touch based role playing game.
  • NEWS: Polygon is reporting what we already know: fans are unhappy with Gearbox’ Aliens: Colonial Marines. But they’re also reporting that folk are taking it one step further. Apparently a class action lawsuit has hit SEGA and Gearbox Software for what is claimed to be “false advertising” of the poorly received shooter.
  • VIDEO: Speaking of Gearbox; fans have banded together to recreate the beloved Duke Nukem Forever trailer from E3 2001, the one representing a game we never got, in the glorious Duke Nukem 3D engine. And they’re planning to release a playable build, too. Details can be found over at ModDB, and the trailer remake can be seen below.
